Yellow Sessions Stavanger is an initiative started by Anna Klungre and Eduardo Scaramuzza. The project's goal is, first and foremost, to create a good concert experience for both the audience and musicians, with a slightly different focus than a "regular" concert.

At Yellow Sessions Stavanger, the audience gets a more intimate and cosy concert experience. In addition, this is an opportunity for the audience to become better familiarised with producing a music video and for the musicians to expand both audience and musician networks. 

 

As musicians leading the project, we understand the value of having a well-produced music video as an essential resource for promoting oneself, with the possibility of being used to book concerts and apply for various support schemes.

Inspired by Tiny Desk and Sofar Sounds, we believe that a concert and video series can be a golden opportunity to show new music from young composers, both for the audience present at the concert and for a wider audience who can watch the videos on Youtube.
